It can be uncomfortable to improve range of motion. It will take persistence. It won’t be easy, but it will be worth it.
When you arrive for an initial session, your Manual Osteopathy or Acupuncture practitioner may check to see how far you can move your joints. We look at these ranges in degrees to establish your initial range of motion, which is very helpful for comparison down the road. Goals that are MEASURABLE tell both the practitioner and the patient if the treatment is effective.
From my clinical experience, those who stay focused on range of motion as a goal usually have an outstanding result at the end of a 6-10 week treatment prescription time frame.
Range of motion means back to daily life, and back to the activities you love. Improving your range of motion over a longer period of time can help with pain relief. 😊
If you need to hear this today: you’ve got this, keep going! 💪
