Zheng Gu Shui (正骨水)

Traditional Chinese Traumatology Liniment

Zheng Gu Shui is a classic topical herbal liniment used in Chinese medicine to support the healing of injuries involving muscles, tendons, and bones. Traditionally used by martial artists and trauma practitioners, this penetrating formula helps invigorate blood circulation, reduce swelling, and ease pain following acute or chronic musculoskeletal injury.

The name Zheng Gu Shui translates to “Bone-Setting Water,” reflecting its traditional role in traumatology to support recovery from sprains, contusions, bruising, tendon injuries, and post-traumatic swelling. When applied to the affected area, the herbal alcohol base allows the ingredients to penetrate quickly, helping disperse blood stasis and promote healthy circulation in injured tissues.

This topical preparation is intended for external use only and is commonly used to support recovery from:

  • sprains and strains
  • bruising and contusions
  • tendon or ligament injuries
  • joint pain and swelling
  • post-traumatic stiffness

Zheng Gu Shui has been widely used in Chinese medicine clinics and martial arts settings for generations as a convenient and fast-absorbing liniment for musculoskeletal support.
