The race to Grewingk glacier lake was a fascinating plethora of moose tracks, ocean views, and ice bergs floating in the lake. It was an 8 mile, fast paced, alpine marathon.

Beau, being a dog, came first place — of course. He was eager to get to the water, until he realized it was the ocean, and, smelled like salt. The look of disappointment was palpable.
